We were a a group of 4 families and we had a great time at Hebron Farm. The Homestead and Cottage were perfect for a getaway nearby the river. Lots of things to keep the kids occupied, kayaking, trampoline, monkey bars, and board games were all a big hit. Plus seeing the farm animals! Thanks again Fiona and Stephen for an awesome stay!– Sarah

Awesome place, we went with a number of families to celebrate a 40th birthday for my partner and we had a great time. The kids were kept entertained with the animals on the farm, we walked down to the river for a dip and some kayaking, a huge trampoline kept the kids busy within eyesight while we lapped up the view while cooking up a BBQ for everyone. The stars were amazing at night and the checkout time was very favourable for such a large group which helped get the most out of the stay. - Conor

Hebron Farm Pet Policy

  • Dogs Allowed by Prior Arrangement Only

We love dogs! In fact, there is often a working dog on the property working with our team. If you would like to bring your dog with you when you stay, you must request it. Any dogs that we allow on to the property must be on a lead at all times when near livestock & farm animals, and we expect guests to clean up their mess. If you are booking & want to bring your dog, please let us know when you book so we can have a conversation about it.

  • Dogs Not Allowed on Beds & Furniture

We don’t mind if your dog comes into the properties, however we appreciate guests keeping them off the sofas and beds during their stay. Most guests bring the dog bed if they have one so their furry friends know where they should be napping & sleeping while at Hebron Farm.

What People Are Saying

What a pleasant cottage and farm right on the doorstep of the city. In addition to the farm animals we saw wallabies, an emu and a deer. Going down to the market gardens and having a chat with the farm staff was a great way to introduce our preschooler to where food actually comes from. A really lovely place to unwind and relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mini family reunion at Hebron homestead. The highlights of our stay were paddling and swimming in the Colo River, our encounters with the farm animals, especially the dogs and the resident emu and picking the fresh fruit and vegetables under the guidance of the friendly farm staff. This home is perfectly set up to accommodate large groups and packed full of activities to appeal to all ages. What a unique experience!

We had a great stay at Hebron Farm. We were meant to stay 3 nights, but we enjoyed it so much we ended up staying 5. Our girls (aged 9 and 12) loved joining in the activities on the farm, helping in the vegetable garden and feeding the animals. Fiona who works at the farm was great, she was very patient with the kids and taught them a lot about farm life. The cottage was lovely and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

— Tom

We stayed at Hebron Farm over the New Years period and had an amazing time. The house was easily big enough to accommodate three families, and there was so much to see and do every day. Exploring the farm, being able to pick our own vegetables and herbs in the garden, it was a lot of fun and the kids had the time of their lives. Not to mention swimming in the river, they spent hours jumping from that jetty! Hopefully we can come back some day.

— Tim

Second time here and totally happy again. First time with our new baby and it was a perfect place to chill and show Hingis first sheep, roos and emus.

We had an amazing stay at Hebron Farm.. rustic chic interiors, loved being so close to the river for dips! Walking around the paddocks checking out the animals was fun.. it was also my 40th birthday weekend, we had 15 guests and it was the perfect place to relax and entertain (the gorgeous long dinner table were big hits for me), and I was gifted a bunch of beautiful asparagus from the garden on arrival. Magical stay. Great hosts. We’ll be back!
